Scene 4: William Elliott

Synopsis

A mysterious young boy welcomes us to the chapel, where we are also met by an older lady, and soon find that we are in the presence of two generations of the Elliott family - William (in 1897) and his Great-granddaughter (in 2024).  Connected in space and time, we learn of William’s cry for help – a handwritten letter found during the renovation of Holy Trinity Church, which sparked much interest and intrigue – before learning what became of that young boy, his fears and expectations for his future.  In one final shift in time, we are transported to the moment that the mysterious letter, and William’s story, were unearthed in 2022.
