Synopsis
Spanning the chancel, nave and balcony of the building, the epic story of Sunderland-hero Jack Crawford unfolds before our eyes: first-hand (through the eyes of Young Jack) and in hindsight (through the memories of Old Jack). Through his heroics during The Battle of Camperdown as part of the Royal Navy, the celebrations and celebrity that followed, and latterly through well-documented downturns in his life that followed, our audience is taken on a journey through time and space that explores the decisions we make and how they can shape our lives.
